Pink Blush

chiffon top, SM dept. store | laced shorts, gift | shoes, Asian Vogue Shop | necklace, Ever Mall | ring, Robinson’s Mall

Set aside the bare stressed face, I’m actually a happy girl when I found this very affordable chiffon top at one of the racks. It actually pays to search high and low to find cute items as such. Of course, its blush pink color was the reason for the attraction. I.could.not.resist.pink.

The black and white stripes detail on the collar and pocket folds gave the top a little twist from all the girlishness. I am obviously in love with this top.

I find this little ring with a Victorian lady on front very charming.

Give this look a hype at lookbook HERE.

Anyway, I’m leaving for Dumaguete again tomorrow and I am sarcastically excited to be back to my favorite place in the world. Not that I hate Dumaguete but I’m not going there for some relaxing time. Instead, a long book reading and reviewing awaits me as I will be taking the NLE this coming June. Wadduup?! haha. I am so not prepared for that. Long hiatus again? Yup, definitely.

On another note, I hate my hair! Why did I stupidly decided to cut it short? Somebody slap me? I have nothing against short hair but it’s just not me. My personality is more of…well, long hair. Can’t wait to have it grow back already. /cue cry

Taylor Swift and her hair. Dreamy.

(via weirdfeelingschanged)

Chopped my uber long hair like a boss. I’m just not sure if I actually really like it. But since I got a “Diana Agron” compliment, I’ll have to embrace short hair! :) After all, it will grow back.

Red and pink (by Minmin Montes)

  March 30, 2012 at 11:46am

Red + Pink

When I was younger, I always thought red and pink together looked awkward. Or maybe it was because I read a fashion tip that red and pink don’t go together. And I actually never broke that rule until now! I think the secret to mixing the forbidden is to make sure they complement each other.

DIY polo, vintage | bandage skirt, Mixed Berry | tassel necklace, Sugar-Kissed | MJ wedges, Asian Vogue

My current favorite tassel necklace added more fun to my outfit.

Did I nail red and pink combo? Give this look a hype in lookbook HERE.

Love how this pair can make any look into a sweet one. I just hope I don’t overuse them especially because it’s way more comfortable than stilettos.

It’s almost summer but I see a heavy reading ahead of me. Meeehn, board exam review will kill my extra time! Anyway, don’t forget to join my ongoing giveaway HERE.

have fun under the sun,

School Over!

Last March 18, I finally received one of God’s greatest gift for my life. To accomplish nursing has been a struggle but I could not have done it without God’s continuous downpour of strength to carry on. I swear, my grades were made out of God’s miracle. My completion of scrubs was also a miracle. It only shows that God really works in our lives. It might not be immediate but He is working on it in a way greater than you expect it to be.

Of course, could not have made it with my parents’ great love and support for me. That’s me and my mom on the photo above. Sadly, my dad couldn’t make it since he had some trouble with his passport.

My sister and I. She’s the one who sends allowance in my ATM. hehe.

My baby brother is all grown up na. They say he’s my boy version. My other brother couldn’t make it as well since he had an ROTC graduation on the same day.

Proud to be a Sillimanian graduate! :) There still tons of photos to share but that’ll be all for now.

keep reaching for your dreams,

<3 charm

Comeback Kiss (by Minmin Montes)

Comeback Kiss

striped top, Dipolog City | high-waist shorts, Pink Panther | flats, Missy | color-blocked tassel necklace, Sugar-Kissed

Guess who’s back? I am! This has to be my first outfit post after the hustle and bustle of senior year. And finally, here I am, an official nursing graduate of Silliman University! Proud to be Sillimanian!

This has to be my current favorite necklace from Sugar-Kissed! It definitely can add more life to a drab outfit. Thanks again for this Christianne and Irish, masterminds behind Sugar-Kissed. Do give their shop a visit. They have lots of accessories to drool over!

I actually wore this outfit for a random walking around school. I took pictures with my classmates around places in school we haven’t taken a picture at. It was our own version of a walk to remember.

I hope to post more on the coming days though I can’t fully promise since I’ll be busy with board exam review and all. Next up, nursing licensure exam! Com’own! Another chapter in my life is going to be exciting! :)

Congratulations batch 2012 graduates! We made it with God’s grace! Cheers!

proud and happy,

Proud to be bisaya! :D They’re also the mastermind behind Pinkest-Blue! And if I must mention, they’re actually both nurses! (proud to be nursing lang! haha) See how versatile nurses can be? :)

Without any bias, Sugar-Kissed/Pinkest-Blue promises you accessories that are both unique and beautiful. It can turn any drab outfit to a fab one, seriously. And this is your chance to grab one for yourself!

Fine Arts

This is really out of the blue but since I’m taking up my last minor subject which is Fine Arts 51, I decided to enter in a few things that enticed me about it. Don’t get me wrong, I never really took this subject seriously from day one since I personally think it’s not related to my future career (assuming that I’ll be a nurse). And believe me, I get really bad scores during quizzes because I never study at all. It’s only now that I finally gave in (because it’s final exam tomorrow) and researched a few things about surrealism, idealism, realism, expressionism and abstract.

These are just few of the art pieces I found over at Google. Kinda sleepy now to post more but you can definitely “google” for more interesting artworks. Surrealism, for me, would have to be my favorite style of art. What’s yours? :)

Stay artistic, charm

P.S. internet connection sucks big time

Will Be Back

Before anything else, can I just say how crappy the internet is? I can’t even upload even just one photo. aaargh. #wishfordecentconnectionPLEASE!! Anyway, I’m so excited for the upcoming days to come! Just a few more days till deliberation day! I’m keeping the faith to graduate this March 18. And because school requirements are slowly dissolving like salt in water, I might be back on blogging days anytime soon! I’m so excited! Gosh, I miss blogging like a fat kid misses chocolate cake (ok, that didn’t make sense). And to welcome the comeback, watch out for a giveaway soon! You’re surely going to get kissed with lovely items! :) At the moment, let me just finish everything school-related and find a decent connection (please!). Seeya soon! can’t wait to be back, Charm

Long Gone

I don’t understand why I’m not asleep at 3 in the morning when in fact I had a leg breaking duty yesterday starting from 5am to 1pm. Something’s wrong… I must be missing blogging so much that  I decided to post in few photos from last Sunday’s short trip to Bais City, a small town in Negros Oriental, which held a town fiesta that day. Fiesta = Food coma but I revived.

Gosh, I miss blogging. Can we be together anytime soon? Prolly not. School’s eating too much of my time. But in the end, it’ll all be worth it, hopefully. Crossing my fingers and legs on this. :)

See you soon!
