I certainly hope my title didn’t urge you to click through my post because I will never in a million years post anything inappropriate if that was what you were expecting. haha. I’m talking about the nude shade here, nothing more okay? :) But before anything else, Happy Love Month! I know the 14th of Feb already passed by but you know, the love just doesn’t stop there. In any way we can, let’s show how we love and appreciate the people who are special to us.

If you ask me what I did on the 14th, I did not go to any couple date. But I did have a sumptuous group dinner date with the single ladies from V. I just love the nice feeling of being surrounded by women who are sold out for God. So with or without the flowers and chocolates, I was happy on the day everyone call Valentine’s day.

On to le outfit, I’ve had this taken for some time already but I only got to post it now. Raise your hands if you like my nude sheer top! It’s a favorite of mine because aside from its dainty and classy guise, I got it for…guess? FREE! I won it from Fashion Bandwagon Stephanie Dy’s giveaway a long time ago. Don’t you just adore free stuff? :D

My favorite parts of the top are the buttoned wrist cuffs and of the winged-like bead work. Imagine the top without these details, it would have looked plain Jane! And to add more character and fierceness, I thought an animal-print skort would do the trick. Finished off the look with a matching nude and mustard animal-print pumps.

That’s it. I can’t keep up with my blog any longer which sucks because I really like to keep my blog alive. I just don’t have that much to post about nor do I have the luxury of time to blog constantly. :3 Anyway, I guess I’ll just have to settle for what I can do.

Setting aside the sulking, here’s an outfit post I thought I should share despite my fatness. :3 And I know animal print is so last season but com’on, I’m sure this style never really gets old, right? Nevertheless, I love how these pants are awesomely comfortable. They’re like pj’s!

To tone down the print, I paired the pants with a plain white tee which is a favorite of mine because it gives me a skinny body illusion.mehehe. I call them magic shirts.

Finished off the look with casual touches like my trusty black T-flats and my buckle belt.

It’s already February but I haven’t had the chance to post anything new yet. Work is taking up all my time and aside from that, I don’t constantly have a photographer with me for some outfit posts! But since this is not a fashion blog, I shall not dwell only on such posts. I hate getting cobwebs on my blog so I’ll try to be a good blogger (although I’ve said this many times and many times I fail.lol.)

Anyway, like I’ve said in my title, it’s Love Month and I thought I should share some of my few thoughts on loooove. Disclaimer: I’m no expert on such matter but I’m pretty sure everyone’s had a dose of it somehow. I’m also not perfect so spare me the judgmental eyes, okay? :D So shall we? We shall!

The weather’s actually getting colder each day (especially early mornings) but here I am, posting a look fit for spring time. But you know how it is here in the Philippines; you can get away with anything. Just earlier today I saw a couple of ladies wearing “super” sleeveless and “short” shorts despite the rain and chilly weather. So yeah. Regardless of the weather, we can wear ANYTHING. maybe.

Anyway, I hope you’re not sick yet of my floral affinity because here I am taking it down to the pants. I have Kryz Uy to blame for. She wore the same style of pants and I got enticed with how fashionably chic she wore it which made me depress because I’m the exact opposite.

Mom’s coming home tonight! Yay! One month life without mom is like me going on a diet—impossible to handle!

Anyway, I’m not sure if I’m an absolute lover of preppy looks but I guess there’s something about its appearance that makes it covetable to look at. It has that clean-cut, polished feel that makes the style unique and…well, preppy. But I think it’s just me and my high likeness to collars.  

Super love my top because aside from its distinct design, it’s real steal purchase! I cannot emphasize further how much I love real stealsss! Can you guess how much I paid for this? Hint: below 250 pesos from WAGW! This is talent people! :D

I underestimated myself when I bought this medium high-waist shorts. It’s kinda loose on me so I guess I’m still in the running for size S! (I did kinda wanted to say Tyra’s famous line “still in the running for America’s Top Next model” so it’d sound cool.haha.)

This morning, I woke up to a cold bed weather that made me wish I could snooze a little longer. My Aeropostale dress shirt and old university PE shorts didn’t do much help in keeping my toes warm so what’s a girl got to do? Dress-up as if I’m from another country experiencing the winter season. mehehe. So rarely could we layer here in the Phils thus weathers like this is an opportunity.

Before it even drizzled, I courageously went out of our house just to get that cold feel backdrop. I thought the trees and the foggy mountains could help justify my look so I braved myself in the middle of the street and tried my best to ignore neighbors’ ‘weird-girl’ looks.hehe. Anyway, it rained even before I got to take detail shots so I’m back to my good old yellow wall backdrop. I did wait and wish for the rain to stop even just for a bit but it didn’t so I had to settle for less.

I recovered my old gray striped sweater which I used to fondly wear back when I was in Saudi with my parents. If you think Saudi is all humid, deserts and camels, well it’s not. That country actually has a ‘cold’ or ‘winter’ season and I am amazed of how I was able to survive showering in a very cold weather despite the water heater. This made me remember the feeling of the wind’s cold blow slapping against my face. brrr.. 

My ‘currently reading’ book is “Digging to America” by Anne Tyler (followed by Dog Days of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series). It’s a lifesaver in times of power interruptions. I guess blackouts has its perks—-it keeps us away from technology (unless you’re living with your tablets and Smartphones). But really, nothing beats the good old books, right?

Obviously, I’ve taken my title from Stephen Chbosky’s famous novel turned movie. When I researched what wallflower meant, I’m thankful I’m not really that much of a wallflower. I mean, I have friends, I socialize if I want to, but definitely not an absolute wallflower. maybe. Sort of introvert though (is it the same?) and maybe a little “awkward” but let’s not go to my personality anymore. To the people who personally know me, you know what I’m like :)

Anyway, although my title is about wallflower, my midi dress is definitely not a wallflower. In fact, it’s the exact opposite—it’s attention-grabbing, bold yet subtle and a combination of sweet and tough brought by its black base.

This dress was definitely a real steal! can you guess how much the price is? Hint: less than 200 pesos! See? Cheap clothing are not always bad looking. You’ve just got to be patient in finding the right one among the sea of clothes on the many racks.

And oh, if I must mention (for gift purposes,heheh), I have such high affinity to anything floral (not the repulsive designs though).

I wore this one last Sunday sans the heels of course since I’m never really the “heels-wearing” girl. Comfort-over-style-girl here.
