So last 19th of February, SU college of nursing held a bash in relation to college week. Each year level had their respective themes to follow and being a junior student I had to be in a classy chic get-up. They gave us an idea of Audrey Hepburn or Marilyn Monroe. I wanted to go as Leighton Meester. I was pretty hyped to go for it when suddenly… I lost the energy. Idk how that happened. Must have been the overdose of Glee. (I went back-watching season 1 of Glee and it made me want to just stay home on a Saturday night.) But anyway, I managed to get up and prep up but the whole Meester thing just drained down the toilet just like that.

So, I went for this asymmetrical black dress with gold strap that Donna lent me. I honestly bought myself a pink dress because like I said, I wanted to go as Leighton. But I changed my mind because..idk..i guessed I like the black dress better.

Obviously, I didn’t exactly follow the classy chic thing because I ended up lookin’ like pocahontas in the modern world. But, i liked it anyway. :D Sometimes, it’s cool to defy a little. jk.

Just came home from a sunrise service hosted by our college of nursing. I’m suppose to sleep, but as usual, i can’t directly go back to sleep.

Anyway, last night, I met someone—-famous and an important person in the fashion industry. Well, I didn’t meet her personally but I met her through a book at National Bookstore.

Introducing Nina Garcia. I know, I know. I’m a loser for just knowing her now! But yeah, I stumbled upon her lovely book that made me want to take out money from my bag but unfortunately could not because I have none. It is undeniably a bit pricey for a student like me.

I don’t know how much of a coincidence it was but after knowing Nina Garcia for the first time, I later saw her in tumblr’s NYFW radar/tagged thingy whatever you call it in the dashboard (if you noticed it). So yeah, coincidence.

It’s not even first page yet but you would already love the first flip. <3

So that’s it. I wasn’t really able to go through it but I think this book is really handy to avoid fashion-disaster in every occasion.

Will someone kind-hearted give this to me as a gift? hoho.

Yay to no duty day because of PTC. Wasn’t able to get my grade though because I had to do my little roomie’s hair for her prom night. Anyways, boyfriend and I went to Rob because I desperately need to get me a dress for the upcoming college bash. No, I’m not excited! I took a look at my wicked schedule and I couldn’t find any spare time to do shopping on the weekdays. So yeah. 

But epic fail= I couldn’t find the perfect but cheap black dress I want. Boo.

So what did I get instead?

Anyway, if you happen to have read my reblogged post from Keigh of akakeighers.tumblr, this is what this post is all about.

I couldn’t exactly remember how I stumbled upon Keigh’s blog. But the moment I saw the content of her blog (specifically the TFC segment she was doing), I had no second thoughts of pressing the Follow button. Afterward, I sent her a message sincerely saying how awesome her blog is [because she’s passionate about fashion despite the uniform hindrance]. And to my delight, it actually made her happy that also made me happy because I made someone happy! [happy=overused in one sentence]. Long story short, we exchanged messages and without knowing it, she was actually working on a giveaway at that time. And then she just surprised me after saying she’s giving it to me! 8D *happy me,of course!*

So yes, last Thursday, while studying, LBC guy handed over to me the package. It was a real surprise because Keigh actually never told me when she was exactly going to ship it.

I definitely can’t wait to match it with whatever outfit I have.

She even left a little note inside. :)

Indeed, this is something I’d treasure forever because it’s rare to meet someone like Keigh being kind and generous to a person she’s never actually really met in person. And to add to that, the thought of choosing to give it to me was far more greater than the earrings itself. I wouldn’t consider this as a giveaway, but instead, would always remember this as a gift. <3 Thank you again, Keigh!

A perk of tumblr, meeting a new friend :D

School days have been quite a boring routine so there’s literally nothing exciting going on. Nada. Sucks. Anyway, I do not know why I’m even reblogging giveaways since there has to be like 0.1% chance that I’d win. Nevertheless, I am a hopeless procrastinator who is currently reblogging + liking giveaways because I am bored to death, yet, it is so ironic to be even online on such a demanding week. So….yeah.
